Biografi Muhammad Bin Abdullah (Perjalanan Hidup Seorang Nabi)

It took 2 months for me to finish reading this book. No, it's not that I am a slow reader but once I read the first chapter I fall in love with it. I don't want to finish reading it in one month (as targeted finish duration is 1 month). Contains 480 pages with simple Bahasa Melayu, and simple sentences that can be understood by many people especially for Muallaf and teenagers that wants to know more about Rasullullah

The book is about our beloved pbuh Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and the history of how Islam was spread around the globe. The biography of Muhammad's life started with his borne till his death. The first chapter tells the history of Muhammad's family. Muhammad s.a.w were the descendants of Prophet Ibrahim.

With the good deeds, moral values and attitude, Muhammad was trusted to manage his uncle's businesses until the state of Syam (now known as Syria). His first marriage with Siti Khadijah at the age 25 years old and Siti Khadijah was 40. Siti Khadijah was attracted to Muhammad because of his good personality, good attitudes and his business skills that Muhammad was a sincere person in business.

After being a Prophet, many hardships Muhammad faces in expanding Islam as Islam is not the main religion in Holy Mecca. So much challenges and trouble he manages to solve. Started the first battle, the Battle of Badr, till his last , Battle of TabukThe Prophet never failed in compiling the Muslim army and battle strategy to bring victory to the Muslims

His death brings sorrow to all his Sahabat. The main four caliphs of Islam continue to lead the Islamic rule after his death.

The authors are Zulkifli Mohd. Yusoff and Noor Naemah Abd. Rahman. They succeed in publishing an interesting book that can be easily understood not only adults but also teenagers and those that are new to Islam.

The Kite Runner

The first time I read this book was in 2009 when I was in my diploma studies..
I found it in UiTM's Merbok Library..
When I finish reading it, I found that this book is a very powerful book..
It's about family, friendship, betrayal and salvation.
A moving portrait of Afghanistan that going through many hardships from its pre-Russian-invasion glory through the terrible reign of the Taliban.

I fall in love with Amir, I fall in love with Hassan, I fall in love with Sohrab.
Alhamdulillah in 2013 I finished reading it for the second time. This time I read mine. Not borrowing from the library anymore.

InsyaAllah there will be the third time..

There is one room in the museum with name list of death tsunami victims hanging on the wall. At the top of the room, there is name of God written in Arabic (Allah) . It is symbolize of human that are always in the bottom of well and look up to find lights of God since the room are in tube shape.

sudoku

Have you tried Sudoku? Sudoku is a puzzle game that has its own fans especially in Japan.

At first memang susah, but then, when you get use to it, it becomes easier and you gonna love it and even addicted to it! (like me..)

Sudoku is a game based on number puzzles (i love numbers that's why i love this game)
You olls kena isi number 1-9 dalam petak yang telah di kosongkan without repeating the number (that's the challenge.. hehe)

Why you must play Sudoku? (very valid reasons after googling it)
  • Improves one’s critical/logical analysis (train your brain to think faster in a short period of time)
  • Increase the mental focus ability (you will become more alert and more focus as you need to arrange the numbers 1-9 without repeating it)
  • Develops a creative mind (you get to enhance your creative thinking because every time you play Sudoku, you will try to find various ways to solve the problems)
  • A good form of recreation  (it brings positive results to any young mind’s overall mental alertness in solving mathematical problems with such speed)

You can get Sudoku online and books.. for me book is more practical because you can write on it, you can tick on it if you sure enough that's the place for particular number, you can feel it.. you know.. umm, there are many levels of Sudoku and yeah of course you need to start from easy level first.

Good Luck ;)

Achehnese vs Bruneian

Tjut Anisah Binti Teuku Manyak is my bunda's name. She's from Acheh, Indonesia. Kalau yang ada nama tjut (ejaan lama), cut and teuku tu maksudnya keturunan Acheh (macam dekat Malaysia jugak la kita ada nik, syed sharifah, tunku, megat.. etc).
Tapi my name xde title Cut tu disebabkan my dad's Malaysian.. hehe..

This post is dedicated to my sister and my brother in law yang dah pun selamat diijabkabulkan. My brother in law from Brunei.
Yup! our family now dah macam keluarga antarabangsa dah.. haha
Waktu majlis kenduri kahwin sebelah perempuan, my sis nak pakai baju tradisi adat perkahwinan orang Acheh..
so, Bunda pun terpaksa la contact her families dekat Acheh untuk sewa baju adat di sana dan di bawa ke Malaysia. Surprisingly, harga sewa baju adat Acheh lagi murah berbanding dengan baju ropol-ropol dekat Malaysia ni.. *sigh

Pakaian pengantin Acheh ni semuanya disulam tangan dengan benang emas dan membawa maksudnya yang tersendiri dan menjadi kebanggaan orang Acheh..
(me too!)
Pengantin perempuan akan memakai seluar dan kain songket (macam sampin), baju kena masuk ke dalam then ada bunga2 yang sangat berat atas kepala, pastu ada cocok-cocok here and there atas kepala..
nampak complicated tapi sangat lawa!
for the groom, diaorang akan pakai baju yang berwarna hitam ala-ala suit and topi Acheh.
Sayang nya pelamin Acheh x boleh buat dekat sini sebab banyak barang nak kena bawa from Acheh dan disebabkan x nak membazir, my sis guna pelamin sini sahaja.

here are the photos..

my sis and her husband wearing baju adat Acheh (masing-masing muka capek bangat kan udah sore)

nampak atas kpaala masing-masing tu penuh dengan accessories..

this is the real Acheh's wedding, ni pelamin my cousin di Acheh

ni another cousin's wedding.. meriah sangat nok pelamin and baju dorg

so, pada sesiapa yang nak tempah pakaian Acheh ni boleh la contact2 titew.. haha..
korang punya pasal boleh ja kita usahakan untuk hari bahagia anda.. ;)

memories in Arau

I live in Arau, Perlis for two years..
When I got the offer to pursue my studies in Arau 2 years ago, I cried so hard because I don't want to be in Arau as I wish I can continue my Bachelor in Shah Alam.

Don't get me wrong people, I didn't like Arau because at that time I think Arau is the place that do not have many facilities and I want to study in main campus not in branch campus.  Arau does not have many fast food restaurants, do not have malls, do not have a cinema, bowling centre (I love bowling so much), and it is hard to find houses for rent and the cost for renting a house is so expensive .. (no..no.. i'm not that social to think only about entertainment, malls, etc)

For the first and second semester in Arau, I stayed at rumah kedai (it is just a room actually not rumah! ;( )  the rumah kedai  is not that bad. The rooms were provided with double Decker bed, wifi, kitchen, tv complete with Astro and bathroom of course. I need to go to classes by UiTM bus and I need to follow the bus schedule. I was to wait for the bus early in the morning at 7.00 though my class start at 8.30am! In my second year in Arau, I moved to Taman Sri Wang (this time it is a reallll house).  Me and another three classmates rented a corner lot house that cost us RM500 per month. Alhamdulillah, we were so lucky to get the partially furnish house because it was considered cheap compared to other house that cost up to RM1000 per month.

In Arau, you will hear people keep on complaining. "Arau is freaking hot" , "Arau ni panas la", "makanan dekat Arau x sedap la", "Arau ada cmart jerr", "Arau ni sikit2 banjir" and so on. But trust me, benda2 ni lah yang akan buat korang rindu Arau (like me now).
that's my friends waiting for the bus after class
sekarang dah grad, Alhamdulillah, tetiba rindu Arau pulak.. banyak sangat memori dekat Arau. Kena tinggal dengan bus, air xde dekat rumah sewa so terpaksa pegi beli air mineral banyak2 dekat 7e, study dekat library last2 tertido dekat library, BBQ dekat Kuala Perlis, kereta rosak time nak ambik exam (ni paling gila!).. banyakkk lagi....

Untuk sesapa yang baru nak pegi study dekat Arau tu, good luck ok! haha.. pengalaman la yang akan mengajar kita erti kehidupan sebenar. insyaAllah  ;)
Come on, Arau is not that bad.. ;p
